Huw Penallt Jones

Founder / Director

Huw Penallt Jones is a film producer, completion guarantor and industry executive with more than 40 years of experience across the British and international film industries. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the successful delivery of over 350 productions, combining extensive expertise in production, finance and risk management. His production credits include Cold Mountain, The Man Who Knew Infinity, The Edge of Love, Patagonia and Freud's Last Session. Alongside his work as a producer, Huw has held senior leadership roles including Director and Head of Production at Film Finances Ltd, one of the world's leading completion guarantors, Vice Chair of the Production Guild of Great Britain, and Cost Controller at the BBC. He currently serves as Managing Director UK for the CAC Group/MGB. Huw also spent several years as a Senior Lecturer in Film Production at Aberystwyth University, where he developed industry-focused programmes to help students gain professional production experience. At South West Financial Management, Huw brings together decades of experience in producing, production finance and completion guarantees to provide producers, investors and financiers with robust financial oversight, accurate forecasting and the confidence to deliver productions successfully.

Georgina Evans

Founder / Director

Georgina Evan’s is the one of the three founders of South West and a production accountant with a background that blends solid financial expertise with deep experience in the creative industries. She spent ten years at Molinare, one of the UK’s leading post‑production houses, where she progressed from Accounts Payable to Management Accountant and ultimately Financial Controller. Her time there gave her a comprehensive understanding of post‑production workflows, cost management, and the financial pressures facing modern screen projects. After leaving Molinare, Georgina transitioned into production accounting — a move that combined her love of film with her talent for bringing clarity and calm to complex budgets. She has since worked on a range of feature films, including Wasteland, Deep Fear, Killing Thyme, Me You and Montana, supporting producers and financiers with accurate reporting, tax credit administration, and day‑to‑day financial oversight. Today, through South West, Georgina provides productions with a dependable, collaborative financial partner. She is known for her approachable style, her ability to simplify the complicated, and her commitment to helping teams feel confident and in control from development through delivery

Jacob A D Horsnell

Founder / Director

Jacob Horsnell combines hands-on production experience with specialist expertise in completion guarantees and financial management, bringing a practical understanding of how productions operate from both the set and the office. Having begun his career in the Assistant Director department, Jacob has worked closely with cast and crew across productions of varying scale, giving him first-hand knowledge of the demands, pace and realities of filmmaking. This practical production experience enables him to provide financial oversight that is grounded in how productions actually function. Jacob later spent several years with Media Guarantors, where he helped oversee the completion bonding of more than 20 film and television productions. Working across projects filmed throughout Europe and internationally, he developed extensive experience in production monitoring, financial reporting, risk management and multi-currency budgeting. He has also worked as a Line Producer on A Visit to Grandpa's and has worked on productions including Cliffhanger (2026), A Hand Rises, The Queen of Fashion and Wife and Dog. At South West Financial Management, Jacob combines practical production knowledge with financial expertise to deliver robust reporting, realistic forecasting and financial controls that support producers throughout every stage of production.
